You are absolutely right. Elmira w...Thanks, Carrie. You are absolutely right. Elmira was a Lincoln Republican town, and absolutely got to rewrite its history in a favorable light. It wasn't until an Elmira College prfessor named Michael Horigan started researching and digging that these stories came to the surface in the 80s and 90s. Jones was our redeeming grace.
